Grant Kinnee Dazzles in Anthony Wayne Victory
Grant Kinnee was instrumental in extending Anthony Wayne's winning streak to eight on Friday. Kinnee did his part (and then some), throwing for 94 yards and three touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground for the 'W'.
Springfield had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Kinnee it was a similar story. Kinnee rushed for 169 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also threw for 133 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes the last time he and the Blue Devils duked it out back in October of 2023.

Braden Gardner and Co. Win Eighth in a Row
Braden Gardner's big game helped extend Anthony Wayne's winning streak to eight on Friday. Nobody could stop Gardner as he rushed for 44 yards and two touchdowns.
This year, Gardner has averaged 39.1 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 9.71 receiving yards per game.

Takats Posts Huge Game in 37-14 Win
Perrysburg found a leader in Josh Takats as the team took down Findlay on Friday. Findlay had no answer to Takats as he rushed for 59 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 138 yards and a touchdown while completing 75% of his passes.
If the past is any indication, Takats could be in store for another big game when he takes on Springfield on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Takats saw the Blue Devils), he threw for 241 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.

Anthony Wayne picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Roman Morrison. Morrison did his part (and then some), picking up a sack and making five total tackles for the 'W'.
