The Meadows School finds home court redemption against Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas

The Meadows School Mustangs's found some homefield redemption this week after a tough overtime loss to the Indian Springs Thunderbirds on Friday. The Meadows School narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas 46-44.
Despite the loss, Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas saw an underclassman step up: Bella Robinson scored 22 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 steals. Robinson scored a full 50% of Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas' points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Riley Ladislao was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 5 steals.
The Meadows School's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. The Meadows School will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Boulder City at 5:00 p.m. on January 8, 2024. As for Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas, they will head out on the road to face off against Cristo Rey St. Viator at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
