Basketball Recap: Reading's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

Reading had to endure an eight-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They snuck past the Pittsford Wildcats with a 62-57 victory on Thursday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Rangers considering their 30-point performance the contest before.

Reading's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Pittsford, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Reading will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Kensington Woods at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Pittsford will also get a bit of a break before their next match: they'll face off against Jackson Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
