Volleyball Recap: Cameron County Comes Up Short

If Cameron County was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Northern Potter on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Raiders lost 3-0 to the Otto-Eldred Terrors on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Terrors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 3rd.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-15, 25-18.

Elsie Bresslin paced Cameron County's offense, picking up 13 kills. Bresslin got some help from Addison McAulay and her 13 assists. Ava Hilfiger controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Cameron County has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Otto-Eldred, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Cameron County will challenge rival Galeton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Otto-Eldred is set to face off against their familiar foe Oswayo Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
