Wayne lost to Monument Valley back in November of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Badgers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Cougars.

Chloe Stewart paced Wayne's offense, picking up seven kills. Stewart got some help from Timber Wood and her 15 assists. Lexie Snedeger and Madilynn Jacobson kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Wayne has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. As for Monument Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-9-1.

Wayne has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Rowland Hall on the 17th. As for Monument Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Tintic on the 17th.
