Baseball Recap: Wink Comes Up Short

Wink and Albany squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Wink had to settle for second. They lost 13-0 to the Lions. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Wildcats were not able to get on the board.

With the defeat, Wink broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-7. As for Albany, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6-3 record this season.

Albany will square off against Gruver on the 17th. Wink will be paying especially close attention to the Lions' game: after the Lions face off against De Leon, they'll take on Wink again on Thursday.
