The Escalon Cougars will challenge the Orestimba Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Orestimba took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Escalon, who comes in off a win.

Escalon will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up eight points last Friday, then bounced right back against Ripon on Friday. The Cougars came out on top against the Indians by a score of 35-28. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Escalon to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dylan Ball, who picked up 127 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 38 yards and one TD. Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Escalon has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 164.3 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Orestimba struggles in that department as they've been averaging 151.6 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
