Soccer Recap: Corry Comes Up Short

Corry lost against General McLane back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Beavers lost 5-0 to the Lancers. While losing is never fun, Corry can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 241st, while General McLane are ranked 73rd).

Corry has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4-1 record this season. As for General McLane, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Corry will host Erie at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for General McLane, they will be playing at home against Meadville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
