Soccer Recap: Cass Tech Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three matchups, Cass Tech finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Western International Cowboys by a score of 2-1. Cass Tech haven't had much luck with Western International recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Cass Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Western International, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Cass Tech will take on Henry Ford Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Western International, they will square off against Brother Rice at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Western International will be up against Brother Rice's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.63 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
