Lewis-Palmer and Palmer Ridge are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2021, but not for long. The Rangers will head out on the road to take on the Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lewis-Palmer has four straight victories, Palmer Ridge has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Cheyenne Mountain came into Tuesday's match looking for another win against Lewis-Palmer, but Cady Knight wouldn't allow it. The Rangers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Red-Tailed Hawks on Tuesday with plenty of help from Knight, who had 20 digs. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 14 times she's played.
Lewis-Palmer never let Cheyenne Mountain on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-18, 25-22.
Lewis-Palmer can attribute much of their success to Maddie Unks, who had five digs and four aces, and Bridgette Bogenrief, who had eight kills and three digs. That's the most aces Unks has posted since back in September.
Meanwhile, Palmer Ridge didn't have quite enough to beat Air Academy on Thursday and fell 3-2.
In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Palmer Ridge sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-23, 18-25, 25-22, 17-25, 15-5.
Palmer Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Lewis-Palmer, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Everything went Lewis-Palmer's way against Palmer Ridge when the teams last played back in September, as Lewis-Palmer made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rangers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
