Greenhill lost to Trinity Valley back in October of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Greenhill Hornets walked away with a 38-26 win over the Trinity Valley Trojans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.
Greenhill had a senior duo take command as William Black threw for 276 yards and two touchdowns and Bryson Watt picked up 178 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Watt has become a key player for Greenhill: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least 100 receiving yards, but 1-2 otherwise.
Despite the defeat, Trinity Valley had strong showings from Chris Houston, who gained 52 total yards and three touchdowns, and Caden Tolbert, who rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown. Charlie Bulaich also played a phenomenal game despite the final result: he picked up 81 receiving yards.
