After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Splendora, Crosby was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Kingwood Park Panthers as the Crosby Cougars made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Cougars as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
While Crosby won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the 0th set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-19, 25-20.
Crosby found their leader in underclassman Iyanna Saenz, who had 12 digs.
Crosby's victory bumped their record up to 12-16. As for Kingwood Park, their loss dropped their record down to 8-18.
Crosby is taking a road trip to take on Pasadena at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kingwood Park, they will take on West Fork at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Fork will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Kingwood Park surely won't give up without a fight.
