After a string of six wins, Revere's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 48-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Benedictine Bengals. The contest marked the Minutemen's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Noah Whisler was the offensive standout of the matchup as he went 5 of 9 en route to 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamari Carter, who posted nine points.

Revere's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-7. As for Benedictine, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Revere has already played their next contest (against Shaker Heights), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Benedictine will venture away from home to take on Shaw at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Benedictine is facing Shaw at the right time seeing as Shaw is stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
