Volleyball Game Preview: Crystal Springs Uplands Gryphons vs. Mercy Bears

Crystal Springs Uplands hasn't had much luck against Mercy recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Gryphons will head out to challenge the Bears at 6:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Crystal Springs Uplands lost 3-0 to Sacred Heart Prep on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-17, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Mercy came up short against Harker on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

While Mercy was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-12, 25-19.

Crystal Springs Uplands' defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Mercy, their loss dropped their record down to 9-15.

Crystal Springs Uplands suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Mercy in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Gryphons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
