North Forsyth barely beat Parkland the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The North Forsyth Vikings blew past the Parkland Mustangs 24-14 on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-3 on Thursday.

Aaron Johnston was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with four runs, four RBI, and one double. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI. Kamari Lewis was another key player, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with four RBI and two runs.

The victory made it two in a row for North Forsyth and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Parkland, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, North Forsyth will face off against West Stokes at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Parkland, they will take on Walkertown at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
