Soccer Recap: Tuscola Takes a Loss

Tuscola was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the Brevard Blue Devils, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, Tuscola can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 436th, while Brevard are ranked 100th).

Tuscola's goal came courtesy of Erick Raya, who's now up to two this season.

Tuscola's loss dropped their record down to 3-15-1. As for Brevard, the victory was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-4.

Tuscola wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against East Henderson on the 28th. As for Brevard, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Pisgah on the 28th.
