Baseball Recap: Fair Grove Takes a Loss

Fair Grove lost against Carthage back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles fell 8-5 to the Tigers. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly three runs.

Fair Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Carthage, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Fair Grove and Carthage will both be playing Logan-Rogersville the next time they take the field. The Tigers will head out to face the Wildcats at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
