Soccer Recap: Bath County Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bath County can now relate to. They fell just short of the Bland County Bears by a score of 4-3 on Thursday. Bath County fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against Bland County since on Thursday.

Samantha Horne and Laci Ryder scored all three of Bath County's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

Bath County has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10-2 record this season. As for Bland County, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-9.
