Indian Land hadn't done well against Catawba Ridge recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Indian Land Warriors took down the Catawba Ridge Copperheads 37-23. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Copperheads back in January, they had to take a 51-44 loss.

Indian Land's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ava Pensule, who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Emily Callahan, who earned six points and eight boards.

Catawba Ridge's loss came despite strong showings from Brooks Dority and Brooke Berninzoni. Dority scored eight points and seven rebounds, while Berninzoni put up eight points and eight boards. What's more, Dority also posted two blocks, the most she's had since back in December of 2024.

Indian Land's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-8 and their overall record up to 6-17. As for Catawba Ridge, they dropped their record down to 8-13 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Indian Land wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 71-21 loss against Clover on the 7th. As for Catawba Ridge, they have also already played their next game, a 56-21 defeat against Nation Ford on the 7th.
