Softball Recap: Harleton Takes a Loss

Harleton fell victim to Overton and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Mustangs. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Harleton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Overton, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-8-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harleton will venture away from home to square off against Ore City at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Harleton will need to watch out since Ore City has now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches. As for Overton, they will head out to face off against Waskom at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Waskom has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.4 runs per game on average), something Overton will no doubt try to take advantage of.
