Basketball Recap: Hart County Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Hart County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 46-34 to the Elbert County Blue Devils. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 114th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 32nd).

Hart County's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-5. As for Elbert County, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Hart County will take on Oglethorpe County in a holiday battle at at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Elbert County, they will be taking part in a tournament against Woodmont at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Elbert County is facing Woodmont at the right time seeing as Woodmont is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
