Mifflin County kept up with Boiling Springs until halftime on Tuesday, but afterwards: not so much. The Bubblers' defense stepped up to hand the Huskies a 5-0 shutout. Boiling Springs' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.

Boiling Springs' win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Mifflin County, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Boiling Springs will face off against Waynesboro at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mifflin County, they will head out on the road to challenge Greencastle-Antrim at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mifflin County are facing Greencastle-Antrim at the right time seeing as Greencastle-Antrim are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
