The Pocono Mountain East Cardinals will head out to square off against the Scranton Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Pocono Mountain East lost 43-20 to Honesdale on Friday. The Cardinals were down 43-13 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, Scranton got the win against Wyoming Valley West on Friday by a conclusive 36-13. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-0.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Scranton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Memphis Shotto, who rushed for 99 yards and a touchdown on only five carries. Brody Coyle was another key player, rushing for 37 yards and two touchdowns.

Pocono Mountain East's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Scranton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
