Baseball Recap: Overlake Takes a Loss

After flying high against Vashon Island on Wednesday, Overlake came back down to earth. The Owls fell just short of the La Center Wildcats by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Owls were not able to get on the board.

Overlake's loss dropped their record down to 11-3. As for La Center, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Overlake will host Granite Falls at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for La Center, they will square off against Castle Rock at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
