Baseball Recap: Hatch Valley Takes a Loss

Hatch Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 13-3 to the Tularosa Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent loss being a 10-7 defeat on Saturday.

Hatch Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was JUAN RUIZ, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Hatch Valley's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Tularosa, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-5.

Coming up, Hatch Valley will welcome Mesilla Valley Christian School at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The SonBlazers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Tularosa, they will head out on the road to take on Socorro at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The last four games the Warriors have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
