Football Recap: Tri-County Cavaliers vs. Frontier Falcons
Tri-County came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They had to suffer through a 62-8 loss at the hands of the Frontier Falcons. The Cavaliers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-0.
Ayden Justice was his usual excellent self, rushing for 94 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries, while also throwing for 67 yards and one TD while completing 83.3% of his passes for Frontier. Justice has been hot recently, having posted three or more rushing touchdowns the last three times he's played. Dustin Stagge helped out on the ground, rushing for 92 yards and a rushing touchdown.
Tri-County's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Frontier, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tri-County will welcome Bowman Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
