Soccer Recap: Sharpsville Comes Up Short

Sharpsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Wilmington Greyhounds. One reason for the loss might be Sharpsville's aggressive play style: Gabe Titus and Hunter Capperes were both handed yellow cards.

Sharpsville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Wilmington, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Sharpsville wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, an 11-2 victory against Kennedy Catholic on the 22nd. As for Wilmington, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Mercer on the 22nd.
