Southern Boone entered their tilt with Capital City on Tuesday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They managed a 52-48 win over the Capital City Cavaliers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Southern Boone pushed their record up to 8-10 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.6 points per game. As for Capital City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-8.

Coincidentally, Southern Boone and Capital City will both be playing St. Elizabeth the next time they take the court. Southern Boone will head out to face St. Elizabeth at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Capital City will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
