            While Germantown put up some  runs on Saturday, the same  can't be said for Terry. Germantown was the clear victor by  a  9-0 margin over Terry. The  victory continues a trend for the Mavericks in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won six in a row.
 Chase Boutwell looked comfortable as he  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. He also  tossed  no  earned runs, which is notable because Germantown is 4-2 when he allows at  most  one  earned run, but 5-7 otherwise.

 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Dylan Everett, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-3. Germantown is 2-1 when  Everett posts two or  more  stolen bases, but 7-8 otherwise.  Ashton Smith was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.
 Germantown  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. They are  a perfect 4-0 when  they post two or more  strikeouts.
The  win  got Germantown back to even at 9-9. As for Terry, they dropped their record down to 4-11 with the  defeat, which was their fourth straight  at home.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Germantown will welcome Starkville  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Terry, they will be playing at home against Pearl River Central  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
