Volleyball Recap: St. Joseph Notre Dame Comes Up Short

St. Joseph Notre Dame's tournament run continued when they took on Lathrop on Saturday. St. Joseph Notre Dame fell just short of Lathrop by a score of 2-1. The Pilots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading Lathrop to victory were Elias Medel and Gabriel Faalii. Medel had eight digs and four aces, while Faalii had six kills, four digs, and two aces. Faalii is crushing it when it comes to kills: he's had at least six every time he's taken the court this season.

St. Joseph Notre Dame's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Lathrop, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-5.

Looking ahead, St. Joseph Notre Dame will head out on the road to challenge Head-Royce at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lathrop, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Livingston on the 29th.
