Soccer Game Preview: Crown Point vs. Keene Central

The Crown Point Panthers will face off against the Keene Central Beavers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

It was a proper cat-fight when Crown Point duked it out with Schroon Lake on Thursday. The Panthers came up short against the Wildcats, falling 8-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Crown Point were already down 6-0.

Keene Central's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Johnsburg Central on Thursday. Everything went the Beavers' way against Indian Lake Central/Long Lake Central as they made off with a 5-1 win. The victory continues a trend for Keene Central in their matchups with Indian Lake Central/Long Lake Central: they've now won eight in a row.

Brayden Harmer and Wyatt Martin scored all five of Keene Central's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

Keene Central's win bumped their record up to 5-8-1. As for Crown Point, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
