Soccer Recap: Mingus Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mingus can now relate to. They fell 2-0 to the Eastmark Firebirds on Tuesday. The shutout was out of character for the Marauders seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in January.

Mingus' loss dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Eastmark, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Mingus does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Eastmark, they will take on Prescott at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Prescott's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Eastmark's offense will have their work cut out for them.
