Basketball Recap: McKinley Classical Leadership Academy Takes a Loss

McKinley Classical Leadership Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 56-39 bruising from the Dupo Tigers.

Keara Prater went supernova for Dupo, dropping a double-double on ten points and 14 boards. Prater has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kaitlyn Roberts, who went 5 for 9 to rack up 10 points.

McKinley Classical Leadership Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Dupo, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-11.

McKinley Classical Leadership Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dupo, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 41-36 win against New Athens on the 6th.
