Baseball Recap: Ringgold Comes Up Short

Ringgold was the 7-5 winner over Lincoln Prep when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Redskins fell 18-15 to the Panthers on Monday. The Redskins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ringgold's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Lincoln Prep, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-15.

Looking ahead, Ringgold will welcome Jonesboro-Hodge at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.94 runs per game on average), something the Redskins will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Lincoln Prep, they have already played their next game, an 18-15 win against Plain Dealing on the 7th.
