Waccamaw and Myrtle Beach are an even 4-4 against one another since February of 2016, but likely not for long. The Warriors will welcome the Seahawks at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Waccamaw managed to keep up with Carolina Forest until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Warriors lost 5-0 to the Panthers. Considering the last time Waccamaw couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Meanwhile, Myrtle Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against North Myrtle Beach, falling 5-0.

Waccamaw now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Myrtle Beach, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.

Waccamaw got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Myrtle Beach by a conclusive 5-1 score. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Seahawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
