Basketball Recap: Palmetto Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Palmetto Christian Academy saw some tournament action on Monday. They fell 65-52 to the Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers.

Jacob Siuta was a one-man wrecking crew for Legion Collegiate Academy as he dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Shawn Thomason, who posted eight points and 12 rebounds.

Palmetto Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Legion Collegiate Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-11.

Palmetto Christian Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Union Christian Day at 6:00 p.m. on January 28, 2025. Legion Collegiate Academy and Piedmont will round out the year against one another at at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
