Recap: Birchwood Christian Warriors vs. Soldotna Stars
The Birchwood Christian Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell 56-47 to Soldotna.
Birchwood Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Andrew Severns, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Guderian, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Birchwood Christian has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season. As for Soldotna, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
