Darlington came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Pepperell Dragons. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Saturday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Darlington took both sets by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-13.

Darlington got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ruthie Brinson out in front who had eight kills, three digs, and three aces. That's the most digs Brinson has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Bryn Merritt, who had 11 assists and six digs.

Darlington's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Pepperell, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-3.

Coincidentally, Darlington and Pepperell will both be playing Cass the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Colonels at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Dragons will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
