Shiloh Christian is 7-1 against Russellville since October of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Saints will challenge the Cyclones at 5:30 p.m. Shiloh Christian will be strutting in after a victory while Russellville will be coming in after a loss.
Shiloh Christian barely beat Alma the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Saints were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Airedales on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Saints in their matchups with the Airedales: they've now won six in a row.
Shiloh Christian's got stronger as the match went on, holding Alma to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-15, 25-13.

Shiloh Christian found their leader in freshman Bristol Bonanno, who had 23 digs and one assist. Bonanno has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last 12 times she's played. Caroline Stallbaumer also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.
Shiloh Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Russellville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against Greenwood, falling 3-0.
Russellville was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-16, 28-26.
Russellville's loss dropped their record down to 5-10-1. As for Shiloh Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 13-9-1.
Shiloh Christian beat Russellville 3-1 when the teams last played back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Saints since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
