Basketball Recap: Trigg County Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Trigg County took on Logan County on Friday. The Trigg County Wildcats were outmatched by the Logan County Cougars and fell 73-33. The match marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Trigg County and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Logan County, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Trigg County will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mayfield at 7:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Logan County and Chapmanville Regional will round out the year against one another at at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
