Football Recap: Monse Ramos and Jocelyn Hurtado Pace Hoover Defense

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Hoover's offense. They fell 6-0 to the University City Centurions on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 46 points in the game before, the Cardinals' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Hoover's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for University City, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Hoover didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-7 loss against Madison on the 23rd. As for University City, they have also already played their next game, a 12-0 defeat against Mater Dei Catholic on the 20th.
