Basketball Recap: Pentwater Skates Past Mason County Eastern with Ease

Pentwater waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They breezed past the Mason County Eastern Cardinals to the tune of 76-34. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 27 points or more this season.

Pentwater's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trey Johnson, who went 10-for-22 en route to 22 points and seven steals. Johnson continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jonny Arnouts, who almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine boards.

Pentwater smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.
