Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fossil Ridge). They never let the Poudre Impalas get on the board and left with a 20-0 win on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the SaberCats in their matchups with the Impalas: they've now won eight in a row.
Logan Hessler looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Luc Gaca-Thiele, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, four RBI, and two doubles. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024.
