Softball Recap: Rushford-Peterson Trojans vs. Lewiston-Altura Cardinals

Rushford-Peterson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 15-5 to the Lewiston-Altura Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, with their most recent defeat being a 14-0 loss back in April.

Rushford-Peterson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shelby Tesch, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was Tesch's first of the season. Another was Delaney Vaughn, who earned one RBI, one run, and one stolen base.

Rushford-Peterson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Lewiston-Altura, they moved to 10-11 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

As of now, neither Rushford-Peterson nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
