Volleyball Recap: Aucilla Christian's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

With a playoff win on the line, Aucilla Christian rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Jefferson County Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Warriors, who have now won four contests in a row.

Aucilla Christian found their leader in freshman Molly McNeill, who had 16 assists and five aces. Those five aces set a new season-high mark for McNeill. Riley Young was another key player, getting five aces.

Aucilla Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 22 aces. They are 9-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

Aucilla Christian's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Jefferson County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-20 record this season.

As of now, neither Aucilla Christian nor Jefferson County have any future games scheduled.
