There's no place like home for Pomeroy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They couldn't have asked for a better start to 2025 than the 62-27 blowout they got against the Genesee Bulldogs. The Pirates pushed the score to 52-21 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulldogs had no chance of recovering from.

Pomeroy was led to victory by Kyzer Herres and Braxton McKeirnan. Herres went 7 of 11 en route to 18 points along with five boards and four steals, while McKeirnan went 8 of 13 on his way to 17 points. Those 17 points gave McKeirnan a new career-high.
