Soccer Recap: Dallas Center-Grimes Falls Short Against Ranked Clarksville

Dallas Center-Grimes faced Clarksville in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Mustangs fell 2-0 to the Indians. Dallas Center-Grimes were red-hot offensively heading into the game (they scored no less than four goals in the three matches prior), but Clarksville's defense proved too tough.

Dallas Center-Grimes' loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5-2. As for Clarksville, the win keeps they at an undefeated 9-0.

Dallas Center-Grimes wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Janesville on the 3rd. As for Clarksville, they will challenge Center Point-Urbana on Saturday.
