Volleyball Recap: Monte Vista Comes Up Short on the Road Against Las Lomas

Monte Vista had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Las Lomas Knights on Monday, falling 3-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18, 25-18.

Las Lomas found their leader in sophomore Tate Thompson, who had 27 assists and two aces.

The win (which was Las Lomas' third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Monte Vista wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Acalanes on the 6th. As for Las Lomas, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Oakland Tech on the 4th.
