Volleyball Recap: Akron-Westfield Comes Up Short

Akron-Westfield was the 2-0 winner over Westwood when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Westerners fell 2-0 to the Rebels on Saturday.

Akron-Westfield's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Westwood, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

Akron-Westfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against South O'Brien on the 20th. As for Westwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley on the 20th.
