Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Midview). They were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Firelands Falcons on Wednesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Middies considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Cody Martin looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Kaiden Vogelpohl was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Midview: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 4-13 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Melendez, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.

Midview hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Firelands struck out ten times.
